This has got to be the most professional and friendly auto repair I've ever dealt with.

Several weeks ago, I brought my S-10 here to have an engine noise diagnosed. In the end, it was bad news and the repairs needed were more extensive than I could handle at the time, but I was still overwhelmingly satisfied with my experience and will definitely bring my other vehicle here next time I need a repair.

First, when I arrived and walked into the office, Craig was sitting behind the desk and greeted me personally. I told him what I was there for, but before he started talking shop (pardon the pun), he took the time to ask me if I had been there before. When I said that it was my first time, he took the time to stand up, look me in the eye, shake my hand and introduce himself. This guy is all class.

He then introduced me to his daughter, who was very courteous and friendly. She accompanied me to my car and started to write up the service order - again, very friendly the whole time. Moments later, Craig came out and took a listen to the engine noise. He gave me a couple "what if" scenarios, then gave me a specific time frame within which he would call me to let me know what he found. We walked back into the office to finish up the paperwork, where he then introduced me to his wife, who was also extrememly friendly.

He asked me if I needed I ride home (which I didn't), then said he'd call me back as soon as he knew anything. 

He called me back exactly when he said he would. Although he had bad news regarding the state of my vehicle, he took the time to explain the extent of the damage, patiently answer all my questions, and he was honest and up front about my repair options and what it would cost. He didn't try to push me into a costly repair that I couldn't afford.

The world could use a lot more honest, family-run businesses like this one. Even though I didn't actually get any repair work done on my first visit, my experience ensured that I'll definitely be back. Craig will take good care of you. - Chris V.

I needed new brakes on my 2013 Kia Forte, so I checked Yelp and found Craig Johnson Automotive.  He had 10 reviews and 9 of them were five star, the other one was a 4 star rating.  That's really good so I took my car there.

This place of business deserves this very high rating!  Craig met me himself and explained every step of the process carefully.  He has the right equipment and did a superior job.  He provided me with a detailed estimate and then did the work as agreed.  His daughter keeps his books and this family run auto repair shop, gets my support.  I will bring my car in here from now on - for everything I need to have done.

They are truly professional, friendly and trustworthy people and I recommend them highly,  You won't find better.  Oh and by the way, if you use Google the only negative comment comes from the auto repair shop across the street from Craig's place (his competition)  Google should do a better job checking their ratings for accuracy! - Art L.

What a great find. I was helping my father find a new local mechanic (his old one in Covina called it quits). I found CJ Auto and read all good reviews and decided to have my dad go there. He was super happy with the staff, the work and pricing. A few months later I decided to purchase a cold air intake for my 2013 Challenger. Called Craig, we discussed it, he did a quick overview of the part and gave me an estimate. Brought my car in at 7:30am, got a call at 9:15am that it was all done... Holy Crap, that was way too fast. Drove back looked over the system, payed and took my Challenger out for a little testing of the improved performance. I am so happy I took it to Craig's Shop. I love the fact that his range of knowledge form older to brand new cars is so great. Take your car here if you want a long term relationship with your mechanic..

Honest and professional! The only things that separates these guys from a dealership mechanic is the price. If you're looking for a knowledgeable staff and a detailed explanation of their completed work, all at a reasonable price, and the satisfaction when you drive away knowing that you weren't ripped of, then make Craig Johnson your mechanic. In the past I've settled for the lowest priced mechanic, but I'd rarely receive a detailed walk-through (with a detailed printout) of the work done, and some suggestions on how to save $$ in the future. The shop stands by all their work, and are very accommodating to reasonably dissatisfied customers. He will also cut 10% off the price of your first visit if you mention the ad on his site. - Carlos V.
